B@K urges all OFWs to access
BMonline processing system and provides free-session at Corniche during Fridays

Bantay at Kasangga ng OFW International – Qatar Chapter (B@K for short) yesterday urged (posted in Facebook page) its affiliated groups, private individual, entities, group partners and other civic society organizations to learn more about Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) Online, otherwise known as the BMonline Processing System.
The POLO ceased the issuance of manual OEC for the OFWs going for vacation. The OFW's are now required to apply and registered on-line thru http://bmonline.ph/.
BK BMONLINE AT CORNICHE
In line therewith, UFOQ in cooperation with Philippine Embassy and Philippine Overseas Labor Office had conducted BM On-Line System training workshop last month (10 December 2015), B@K Core Team: VPIA Jhon and Coor. Darwin was attended.
As part of the mission and to support this very useful and informative project, B@K Council on Outreach & Welfare / Community Services and Advocacy & Training led by EXECOM Coordinator Darwin Tabucol has started providing a free session or educational activity last Friday (January 08) thru its affiliated group namely “OFW Sa Qatar - Ikaw Ang Bida” (KaBIDA) and on succeeding Fridays (January 15 and 22) the Qatar Friends Forever (QFF), Manggagawang Pinoy Sa Qatar (MPSQ) and Pinoy at Pinay Sa Doha Qatar (PPDQ) are being scheduled respectively at Corniche Area.
Other interested individual or organization, may contact the B@K Core Team Secretary Marivic Vergara (33025640) for slot availability or to obtain schedule for fixed date.
The participants are required to bring the following to be used during the actual hand-on training:
- Laptop / Tablet
- Mobile Data Internet connection via hotspot
- Copy of valid passport
- Copy of last OEC (if available)
B@K Core Team Secretary pointed out that the objective of this educational activity / session is to increase the level of awareness of the OFWs on the proper registration procedure of the Balik-Manggagawa On-line registration program. The training workshop will be focusing on the processing of Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) required from OFWs to acquire before they return from the Philippines to their respective work overseas. POEA Staff in the Philippines are on standby to answer all your queries via Skype.
“Each Fridays, rest assured that the Bantay at Kasangga ng OFW International – Qatar Chapter will be holding continuously the said OEC online training ‘along the breeze’, wherein to reach out OFWs as our initiative move to follow the mandate by PE-UFOQ in December 2015”, Vergara said.
Indeed, B@K will constantly support the Filipino Community’s future projects and endeavors, she added.
